The American Heart
Association (AHA) Heartsaver CPR plus AED course is now
scheduled on Thursday June 27th for the re-certification/certification
of the personnel shown in bold letters below. The class will be held in the Narthex of
Grace Lutheran Church commencing at
6:00 p.m., and should be completed by 8:30 p.m. The course covers the following subjects:
CPR
plus AED for Adults
Choking in an Adult
CPR
plus AED for Children
How to Help a Choking Child
CPR for Infants
How to Help a Choking Infant
The AHA certtified
instructor, Rob Riley, has requested that the minimum class size be
six (6) and the maximum size class be eight (8). For the past 24 plus years, Rob has served as the Program Manager of
the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Ambulance
Services. He is in charge of 45
Emergency Medical Technicians and eight
ambulances and is considered to be most qualified to
teach whatever course the AHA has to offer. The total cost per
attendee is only $35.00 payable to Rob Riley on the day of the
course. Of that total, $10.00 is for the AHA two year
"satisfactory completion card" that you will receive. The Student
Handbook/Manual ($15.00 value) will be provided by Grace Lutheran
Church at no additional cost to you.
