INTERIM/CALL COMMITTEE:  Pre-call interview questions are on the bulletin board.  Interviews with begin after the committee has reviewed the candidates' files.

MINISTRY LEADERS:  Please be thinking about your budget needs for 2014.

BIBLE STUDY:  Our Wednesday morning (9 a.m.) Bible Study in the Narthex resumes on September 4th.  Please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex so we can plan for the materials needed.  Thank you.

EVENTS:
Life Line Screening:  Wednesday, August 28th.  Here at GLC.  Two different packages are available.  Please see the table in the Narthex for more information.  For every person that signs up, GLC will get a small donation...just be sure to use the code at the bottom of the registration form.

Praise in the Mountains:  The 22nd Annual Free Christian Concert, Saturday, August 31st at Gateway Park in Penn Valley.  Drawings, prizes and food all day long!  The Rhythm Riders and Will Derryberry are just a couple of the music makers this year!  The event will kick off at 1 p.m. and will end around 9 p.m.  So, come for a while or stay for the whole event!

Annual Church Picnic:  Sunday, Sept. 8th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Condon Park.  Don't know where Condon Park is?  We have printed out a map in case you don't know how to get there (copies in the Narthex).  Need a ride?  Just contact Eric G. and Men's Ministry will help you get there.  Games for all ages, and a special contest -- more information next week!

Samaritans Purse:  Operation Christmas Child - There is a box in the Narthex for Operation Christmas Child items.  See the list of needs in the Newsletter.  If you have any questions, contact Diane G. or Mary B.

The Lutheran Hour Ministries:  Please use the designated offering envelope located in the Narthex to help us reach our goal of $3,800 to keep the broadcast on the air this year (KNCO 830AM, Sundays at 7:30 a.m.)  Please make your checks payable to: Grace Lutheran Church.
