INTERIM/CALL COMMITTEE:  Pre-call questions are printed and posted on the bulletin board.  Interviews will begin after committee reads the files on the candidates.  A list of candidates is posted in the library.

MINISTRY LEADERS:  Please be thinking about your budget needs for 2014.

BIBLE STUDY RESUMES:  The Wednesday Morning Bible Study resumes September 4th at 9 a.m. in the Narthex.  There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex.

EVENTS:
Church Picnic Update:  In Condon Park on Sunday, Sept. 8th at 2 p.m.  Don't know where Condon Park is?  We have printed out a map in case you don't know how to get there (copies in the Narthex).  Need a ride?  Just contact Eric G. and Men's Ministry will help you get there.  Games for all ages, and a special contest - more information week!  FOOD CONTEST AND PRIZES for the best salad and dessert!  Please bring your recipe for each so that we can share!

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans!  Sunday, September 22nd @ 12:15 p.m.  Wonder how your investments could be serving you better?  Come and find out!  We will be in the Social Hall immediately following second service.  Refreshments will be served.  Please see the sign-up sheet in the Narthex.  Deadline to sign up is 9/20.

HELP NEEDED:
Samaritan's Purse:  Operation Christmas Child - There is a box in the Narthex for items such as:  School supplies, socks & flip flops,  and hygiene items.  If you have any questions, contact Diane G. or Mary B.

The Lutheran Hour Ministries still needs our support!  Please use the Designated Offering envelopes, located in the Narthex, to help us reach our goal of $3,800 to keep The Lutheran Hour on the air (KNCO 830AM, Sundays at 7:30 a.m.).  Please make your checks payable to:  Grace Lutheran Church.
